ODOT District 6 has released its weekly report highlighting road construction projects which are beginning or underway in the multi-county area it serves. What follows are posted projects taking place within Delaware County and Franklin County.

Please stay safe and pay attention to these closures and work taking place during the week beginning on November 7.

DELAWARE COUNTY

U.S. Route 42

CONTINUING IMPACTS

U.S. 42 between Kelly-McMaster Rd. and Pittman Rd. will close starting Monday, October 25 through Wednesday, November 10 for culvert replacement. Detour: U.S. 36 to U.S. 23 to SR 229 to U.S. 42 or reverse.


FRANKLIN COUNTY

NEW IMPACTS

Olentangy River Rd. between Highland Drive and Henderson Rd. will have daily lane restrictions (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) starting Monday, November 8 through Friday, November 12.

Interstate 71

NEW IMPACTS

  • I-71 northbound and southbound between I-270 and Greenlawn Ave. will have nightly lane restrictions (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, November 7 through Friday, November 12.
  • The Greenlawn Ave. ramp to I-71 northbound will close nightly (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, November 7 through Friday, November 12.
    • Detour: I-71 southbound to Frank Rd. eastbound to I-71 northbound.
  • The I-71 northbound ramp to I-270 eastbound will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, November 7 through Friday, November 12.
    • Detour: I-71 northbound to I-270 westbound to U.S. 62 to I-270 eastbound.
