ODOT District 6 has released its weekly report highlighting road construction projects which are beginning or underway in the multi-county area it serves. What follows are posted projects taking place within Delaware County and Franklin County.
Please stay safe and pay attention to these closures and work taking place during the week beginning on October 10.
DELAWARE COUNTY
U.S. Route 42
NEW IMPACTS
U.S. 42 between Kelly-McMaster Rd. and Pittman Rd. will close starting Tuesday, October 12 through Friday, October 22 for culvert replacement. Detour: U.S. 36 to U.S. 23 to SR 229 to U.S. 42 or reverse.
U.S. Route 36
CONTINUING IMPACTS
U.S. 36 Intersection Safety Improvement – The intersection of U.S. 36 and SR 257 will have daily lane restrictions (7 a.m. – 5 p.m.) starting Monday, August 2 through October 2021 for traffic signal installation. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.
FRANKLIN COUNTY
NEW IMPACTS
Olentangy River Rd. between Highland Drive and Henderson Rd. will have daily lane restrictions (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) starting Monday, October 11 through Friday, October 15.
Interstate 71
NEW IMPACTS
I-71 northbound and southbound at Cleveland Ave. will have nightly lane restrictions (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, October 10 through Thursday, October 14.
NEW IMPACTS
- The I-270 eastbound ramp to I-71 southbound on the south side will close nightly (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) Sunday, October 10 through Thursday, October 14.
- Detour: I-71 northbound to Frank Rd. westbound to I-71 southbound
- The I-270 westbound ramp to I-71 southbound on the south side will close nightly (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) Sunday, October 10 through Thursday, October 14.
- Detour: I-71 northbound to Frank Rd. westbound to I-71 southbound.
- The I-71 southbound ramp to Stringtown Rd. will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) Sunday, October 10 through Thursday, October 14.
- Detour: I-71 southbound to SR 665 to I-71 northbound to Stringtown Rd.
- I-71 southbound at Greenlawn Ave. will have overnight lane restrictions (6 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Thursday, October 14.
- The I-70 eastbound ramp to I-71 southbound will close overnight (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Thursday, October 14.
- Detour: SR 315 northbound to U.S. 33 westbound to SR 315 southbound to I-71 southbound.
- The I-70 westbound ramp to I-71 southbound will close (midnight – 5 a.m.) on Friday, October 15.
- Detour: SR 315 northbound to U.S. 33 westbound to SR 315 southbound to I-71 southbound.
- I-71 northbound and southbound at Greenlawn Ave. will have daily lane restrictions (8 a.m. – 3 p.m.) starting Monday, October 11 through Friday, October 15.
