Mark your calendars for an evening of fun, food, and philanthropy at the Friends of the Delaware County District Library’s (DCDL) “Night at the Races.” The event will take place on Thursday, May 2 at 6:00 PM at the Wedgewood Country Club in Powell. Attendees will enjoy an evening filled with exciting prerecorded horse races, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and refreshing mint juleps.
Aside from the thrill of the races, guests can look forward to mingling with other library supporters and cheering on their favorite horses and owners. This unique event is a great opportunity to socialize, enjoy some delicious food and drinks, and support a fantastic cause.
Tickets for this fundraiser are priced at $60 per person and can be purchased online via Eventbrite. Alternatively, checks can be sent to “Friends of DCDL” at the Liberty Library, 7468 Steitz Road, Powell, OH 43065. Be sure to enclose the names of your guests with your check if you choose this payment method.
All proceeds from “Night at the Races” will support the Friends of DCDL, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, in funding learning experiences such as Young Writers Workshops, Author Visits, and the two Maker Studios. The support from this event will enable the library to continue offering valuable programs and services to the community.
