Collaboration and Community

The show is a result of a collaborative effort between The Arts Castle, the Delaware County District Library, and Willow Brook Christian Communities. An expert committee of art professionals, enthusiasts, and advocates for individuals 55 and older supervises the event, ensuring that the creative voices of the senior members of the community are celebrated and uplifted.

Prizes and Recognition

In a bid to recognize and encourage the creative talents, prizes will be awarded in different categories. The winners and the extraordinary pieces of art will be revealed during the Opening Reception, adding an exciting competitive edge to the exhibition.

Visit the Exhibition

Admission to the Senior Showcase is free and open to the public. The exhibit can be viewed during The Castle’s operational hours from Monday to Friday between 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Senior Showcase – Art after 55 is more than just an art exhibit; it’s a wonderful showcase of the creative expression of the senior individuals in Delaware County. This event stands as a testament to the ageless nature of creativity and the role of art in enhancing community engagement.

In the words of an unnamed art enthusiast from the community, “Art knows no age, and this exhibition is a beautiful representation of that truth. It’s inspiring to see how creativity thrives and evolves even as we grow older.”
