The Columbus Dispatch has reported that the retail chain Talbots has closed its location at Polaris Fashion Place Mall.

According to its website, the chain has locations at Worthingon Mall, Easton, and Lane Avenue as well as an outlet location in the Tanger Outlets Center in Sunbury.

Faced with declining sales in the face of online competition, Talbots has been closing locations for many years. There are additional places impacted by the current round; in January, the last remaining store within the city limits of Pittsburgh was the subject of a closing announcement.
