Two Delaware County road closures are set to begin Monday, May 4, as the Delaware County Engineer’s Office moves ahead with separate infrastructure projects in Harlem and Kingston townships.

The longer of the two closures will affect a four-way intersection in Harlem Township, where crews will install a roundabout at Center Village Road, Edwards Road, Duncan Plains Road NW, and S. County Line Road. The closure is scheduled to run from May 4 through July 30, weather permitting.

The closure area will extend between the intersection and nearby addresses on each approach: 16062 Center Village Road, 14309 Edwards Road, 14227 Duncan Plains Road NW, and 2819 S. County Line Road.

Motorists should follow posted detours during the project.

A shorter closure is also planned in Kingston Township, where Blue Church Road will be closed between Wilson Road and Rosecrans Road for a culvert replacement project.

That closure is scheduled from May 4 through May 7, also weather permitting. The affected stretch will be between 3483 Blue Church Road to the north and 3445 Blue Church Road to the south.
