The Delaware Soil & Water Conservation District is currently accepting votes for two supervisors.

In accordance with Chapter 940 of the Ohio Revised Code, residents or landowners, firms and corporations that own land or occupy land in Delaware County and are at least 18 years of age, may vote.  A nonresident landowner, firm, or corporation must provide an affidavit of eligibility, which includes designation of a voting representative prior to casting a ballot.[widgets_on_pages id=1]

Official voting to fill two positions on the Board of Supervisors began on Tuesday, October 30.  You may cast a ballot by:

  • Voting in person at the Delaware SWCD office between the hours of 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20.
  • Completing an Absentee Ballot Request Form.   Resident Absentee Ballot 2018

This year’s candidates are Mike Hope, Ron Keil, and Dan Lane. A candidates bio sheet can be accessed here.

The Delaware SWCD will be holding an Open House on Tuesday, November 20 from 11 AM to 6 PM. Please stop by for light refreshments, visit with staff, board members, and friends, and enjoy photos of the year’s activities. Vote for two candidates to the Delaware SWCD Board of Supervisors while you are there. The office is located at 557 A Sunbury Road in Delaware (enter from Bowtown Road).
