Chamber Music Invitational Brings Harmony to Delaware

Discover Transformative Art at Ross Art Museum

Two compelling exhibitions take center stage at the Richard M. Ross Art Museum:
- “Caribbean Transformers: Becoming and Being in the New World” by Alicia Brown. This thought-provoking portraiture series examines the legacies of colonialism and identity through the artist’s Caribbean lens. Enjoy a Caribbean-themed reception on January 16.
- “Culture Push,” an exhibition designed for OWU’s first-year seminar, features works that explore powerful cultural forces and their impact.

Honoring the Legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.
Family-Friendly MLK Events

Children can learn about Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy through storytelling and hands-on activities on January 19. On January 26, kids can enjoy art-themed stories and create their own masterpieces to take home.
32nd Annual MLK Celebration
- When: 10:00 AM, January 20
- Where: Benes Rooms, Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, 40 Rowland Ave., Delaware
- Cost: $35 per ticket
This year’s celebration, themed “Growing Towards Justice: From Root to Fruit,” features Valerie Lee, Ph.D., as the keynote speaker. Guests will also enjoy a performance by the Columbus Adventist Academy Children’s Choir. Proceeds benefit the Delaware County MLK Scholarship Program. Tickets are available until January 10 at owu.edu/MLK.
Insights on the Future Economy

The 2025 Economic Outlook Conference brings together experts to forecast regional, national, and global economic trends. Panelists include Joyce Chen, Ph.D., Fadhel Kaboub, Ph.D., and Mark Schweitzer, Ph.D., who will share insights and answer audience questions. Stargazing and Exploration at Perkins Observatory
