Cars and food will highlight the 27th annual Powell Cruize In and Pig Out, to be held this Sunday, August 18.

The fun starts at 10 AM downtown, and continues “’till you leave.” Included are:

Food by area restaurants and pulled pork sandwiches by Pablo’s Havana

Over 150 beautiful cars lining the streets and in the parking lots of downtown – the show and DJ start at noon; judging will begin at 1 PM; and ten “best of show” trophies will be awarded at 4 PM together with Police, Fire, and Mayor’s Choice awards

50/50 raffle drawing after the trophy presentations

Shopping in the gift and antique stores of downtown Powell

This year’s main benefactor will be Honor Flight of Columbus, which takes veterans to Washington D.C. to visit the War Memorials there. 100% of the money raised goes to that and other local and central Ohio charities. Since 1995, the show’s host, the Powell/DT Sertoma Club, has given over $600,000 in proceeds.
