A new university is coming to Delaware County.

The Cincinnati Business Courier is reporting that Xavier University from Cincinnati will soon be launching its first-ever bachelors degree program in central Ohio, and will be calling Delaware County its home.

The location for the new facility is at 8425 Pulsar Place. Called the Xavier ABSN Learning Center, the offering will center on accelerated bachelor of science in nursing.

Xavier University is the sixth-oldest Catholic and fourth-oldest Jesuit university in the country. Established in 1831, it has approximately 4,500 undergraduate and 2,100 graduate students. According to the school’s website, its nursing programs stand out because of an emphasis on real world learning opportunities, a holistic approach, and a focus on providing nurses for the Hispanic market.
