The City of Delaware will open its Hidden Valley Golf Course on Sunday, May 10.

Hours at the course will be from 8 AM to 6 PM.

  • One person per cart, unless from the same household.
  • Pre-packaged concessions only are available, (i.e. water, Gatorade, candy bars). Green fees will be accepted at the clubhouse door. The clubhouse, driving range and putting green are closed to the public.
  • Please do not participate if you are, or have been in close contact with someone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

Below are updates on the status of other City of Delaware programs and facilities, as determined by either state or local health orders:

  • All City of Delaware parks and trails are open.
  • Jack Florance Pool at Mingo Park will not open Memorial Day weekend. It is uncertain at this time if or when the pool will open in 2020.
  • The Mingo Park Indoor Recreation Center is closed The skate park, dog park, shelters, playgrounds, tennis courts, pickleball courts and sport courts remain closed at this time.
  • Spring youth and adult recreation programs were previously cancelled. This includes soccer, tennis, baseball, softball and adult softball. Refunds are being processed by the YMCA of Central Ohio.

“We know residents are anxious to access all of our parks and facilities, and we are working hard to adapt and prepare them to ensure the safety of everyone,” said Ted Miller, Director of Parks and Natural Resources. “It’s critical we take a careful, deliberate approach to ensure we can deliver quality programming, safely.”
