Never fear – the super-popular Farmers Markets in downtown Delaware will be back in 2020, but with a twist.

Working with the City of Delaware and the Delaware General Health District, a consensus was reached that for the time being, downtown’s tight spaces are not ideal for the spread-out nature of social-distanced farmers markets.

For that reason, and because of the need of vendors and customers alike, the decision was made to take the markets this summer to the Delaware County Fairgrounds, 236 Pennsylvania Avenue in Delaware.

They will take place from 9 AM to 12 Noon on Saturdays, starting on May 30.

This year’s series of markets is hosted by Main Street Delaware and is sponsored by United Way of Delaware County.
