Delaware County’s Preservation Parks invites you to an Open House on April 24 at 5:00 PM to discover their latest project, Perfect Creek Park. This event will be held at the Sunbury Town Hall, 1st Floor Meeting Room, located at 51 E. Cherry St., Sunbury.

🌱 A Glimpse into Perfect Creek Park

Perfect Creek Park, located on Old N. 3C Road, is set to become a stunning natural oasis. This expansive 481-acre site features gently rolling hills, mature forests, two miles of streams, high-quality wetlands, and open grasslands. The Park District is exploring various major elements, including Perfect Sandel Farm, the historic Perfect Schoolhouse, an archery range, a police training range, observation areas, a network of trails, a maintenance facility, restored forests, wetlands, shelters, and restrooms.

📜 Engage with the Master Plan

The Open House provides a unique opportunity for the public to interact with the concept master plan for Perfect Creek Park. Attendees are encouraged to drop by at any time to view the planned facilities, learn about the habitat restoration projects, and discuss details with the Park District staff. Whether you’re curious about the archery range, eager to explore the extensive trail system, or interested in the restoration of historic sites, this event has something for everyone.

💬 Opportunities for Public Feedback

Community input plays a crucial role in shaping the park’s development. Visitors to the Open House can share their thoughts, ask questions, and provide valuable feedback. This interaction ensures that the park meets the needs and interests of Delaware County residents.
