Get ready, Westerville! The highly anticipated Cops & Kids Day is back for its 30th year, and we’re excited to celebrate this milestone with you all. Returning to its original location at Hoff Woods Park, 556 McCorckle Blvd, and taking place on a new day, Saturday, June 10th, from 11 AM to 2 PM, we can’t wait to see everyone there.
Established in 1993 by Officer Anita Baron, Cops & Kids Day aims to foster positive relationships between law enforcement and the community. Over the years, it has grown from just a few agencies and a handful of attendees to include more than 50 law enforcement agencies and over 3,000 guests!
This family-friendly event offers a unique opportunity to explore cruisers, helicopters, motorcycles, tactical vehicles, and K-9 teams from agencies all around the state. Kids will be thrilled to get an up-close look at these impressive vehicles and interact with the officers who use them daily.
In addition to the exciting displays, kids can participate in arts and crafts, inflatable gyms, and other engaging activities. Local hospitals and safety organizations will also be on-site, providing child safety materials, promotional items, and interactive exercises.
Admission to Cops & Kids Day is absolutely FREE, and the first 1,000 children in attendance will receive a special gift! This event is a fantastic way for families to enjoy a fun day out while strengthening their connections with the law enforcement community.
