Greif Announces Price For $500 Million In Notes Related To Recent Acquisition

In a press release issued on Wednesday, Delaware’s Greif, Inc. announced pricing for the previously announced offering of $500 million aggregate principal amount of 6.50% notes due in 2027.

According to the release, “The offering is expected to close on or about February 11, 2019, subject to customary closing conditions.”  The offering is part of the financing of the merger consideration related to the previously announced acquisition of Paperboard Parent, Inc., the parent company of Caraustar Industries, Inc.. Greif Acquires Georgia Company In $1.8 Billion Deal

Greif, Inc., headquartered in Delaware, is a global leader in industrial packaging products and services. The company announced on Thusday that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Caraustar Industries, Inc., a leading recycled paperboard and packaging solutions company, from an affiliate of H.I.G. Capital, in a cash transaction valued at $1.8 billion.

Gladstone Commercial Corporation  announced on Thursday that it completed the acquisition of a 157,810 square foot industrial building in Delaware for $8.3 million.
