This March, our world as we knew it was turned upside down. Parents became work-at-home parents AND teachers when schools were forces to closed their doors. The support systems and “villages” we once relied on became disconnected, while the unknown future changed each day. There is not a Global Pandemic chapter of the parenting handbook.

Seven months into the pandemic, the COVID-19 “new normal” continues to challenge parents. Whether you are working from home or back in an office, overseeing virtual learning or navigating hybrid attendance, everyone reacts differently to stressful situations. Olentangy Schools Adopts Face Mask Policy

Olentangy Schools has shared its new face mask policy for the 2020-2021 school year. In a statement on its website, the District shared:


“On August 13, Olentangy Schools’ Board of Education voted on passed the Use of Face Masks/Coverings Policy 8450.01, requiring face masks to be worn by all students, staff, teachers and other person(s) entering an Olentangy building. The expectation is that everyone will uphold this critical policy, respecting the health and safety of our greater Olentangy community.
