Special to 1808Delaware

COhatch, central Ohio’s fastest growing company which develops innovative shared work and social spaces, is adding multiple corporate suites, nearly 30 private offices, an event space and a new North High Brewing concept to its existing Polaris location.

The new corporate suites will provide businesses with options for increasingly popular hybrid work models. The suites allow for a “hub and spoke” approach to work, giving businesses a home base at Polaris with access to COhatch locations throughout Columbus, Springfield, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Indianapolis, and, in the coming months, Tampa. The first companies to secure a corporate suite will have the added perk of customizing their space before development begins.

“We’re seeing a rising demand from both employers and employees for more flexibility in how they approach work following the pandemic,” said Matt Davis, co-founder and CEO of COhatch. “Employees at companies with a corporate suite will have access to all the great perks of COhatch, from coworking seats and deluxe meeting spaces to access to our locations in other cities when they travel.”

The new 13,000 square foot space will integrate more than office space, housing a new North High Brewing bar and kitchen concept.

“COhatch has been an amazing partner as we expand with them throughout Columbus and into other markets,” said Gavin Meyers, co-founder of North High Brewing. “Our concept at Polaris will fit the needs of COhatch members, as well as the public, with lunch options perfect for mid-day meetings or a quick carryout meal between calls, and a bar featuring live music from the best local artists, ideal for happy hours with colleagues or clients.”

The North High Brewing concept will also offer catering for off-site meetings, corporate events, conferences, weddings, and more, which will be convenient as COhatch creates an upscale meeting hub and event venue in the expansion. The space will be able to accommodate events for up to 200 people.

To make event and meeting planning as easy as possible, COhatch offers a concierge service, with everything from turnkey meeting and event solutions to custom support with catering, hotel accommodations, transportation and anything else guests may need help with.

“At Polaris Fashion Place, we’re constantly striving to provide our guests with innovative ways to experience all the town center has to offer, which is why COhatch is an effortless fit,” said Tamra Bower, General Manager at Polaris Fashion Place. “We’re looking forward to welcoming guests as they enjoy the unique, flexible perks of this new workspace, as well as the offerings from North High Brewing.”
