The beautiful confines of Gray Chapel at Ohio Wesleyan University will be the scene this Sunday for a double-barreled concert which is sure to please everyone!

The event by the Central Ohio Symphony Orchestra begins with a shorter concert version of Verdi’s beautiful and inspiring “La Traviata.” That work will be followed by the latest in the Symphony’s “Play it Again” section with a repeat performance of Jennifer Jolley’s Motordom.

The Delaware Community Chorus will be featured.

“Motordom is my musical interpretation of artist Keith Sonnier’s light installation entitled “Motordom,”” said Jennifer who will be at the concert. It is found in front of the District 7 Caltrans building in downtown Los Angeles. Shifting patterns of red and blue light, generated in neon and argon tubes, develop in horizontal bands all around the lobby of the Caltrans building. The tubes evoke taillights streaming down the freeway.​”

The concert will begin at 3:00 PM. Please note the following OWU health and safety policy:

All ticket-holders (ages 12 and above) are required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result and accompanying government-issued ID (for ages 18 and above) upon entry. Your vaccination card or photo of vaccination card (digital or physical) is acceptable.
Recent Negative COVID-19 PCR test results must be taken within 48 hours prior to entry to the building. A rapid antigen test administered within 24 hours of entry will also be accepted. Documentation must be accompanied by your accompanying government-issued ID (for ages 18 and above). Proof of a negative test may be provided in digital form (email) or your printed document.

Children under the age of 12 are not required to provide proof of a negative test but are required to wear masks.

Vaccination check points at the University Hall south entrance, and one in the lower level handicap entrance. Please allow extra time for this process.

Masks are required at all times. Hand sanitizer will be available. If you feel sick, stay home.
