The weather is finally beginning to turn (particularly as this week wends on), with very seasonable temperatures hitting Central Ohio near the end of the week.

With that rise come thoughts of getting ready for nice weather — and the need to do that ol’ spring cleaning that many of us have put off.

That’s the mood in downtown Delaware as Main Street Delaware invites community members down for some good old-fashioned cleaning. Not only will the day present opportunities to clean up litter around downtown, but also sprucing up landscaping at the Welcome Center and the planting of seasonal flowers.

If you’re interested in helping with some of the gardening at the Welcome Center and have tools such as large or small shovels, rakes, etc. please bring those along with you.

All of the supplies for the trash clean up will be provided by the Keep Delaware County Beautiful initiative of the Delaware Public Health District. The even will take place on Saturday, April 23 from 10:00 AM until Noon.
