The City of Delaware has temporarily closed of a section of US 42 northbound.
US 42 northbound between Fern Dr. and S. Sandusky St. closed starting this past Monday for 28 days.
The posted detour is to take SR 257 Northbound to US 36 eastbound to US 23 southbound to US 42.
During the closure of northbound traffic, all US 42 southbound traffic will be maintained. Only local traffic will be able to travel northbound on US 42 from London Rd. to Fern Dr.
Traffic leaving Pittsburgh Dr./London Rd. will not be able to go north on US 42 to US 23 and should use the detour or find an alternate route (see image below).
