As part of an innovative new collaboration with Vera Whole Health and Central Ohio Primary Care, JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) launched three new on-site advanced primary care centers across the company’s Columbus offices (Polaris, Easton and Brooksedge), providing a full suite of comprehensive in-person and virtual health and wellness services for more than 20,000 JPMorgan Chase employees. In addition, Vera and COPC will provide the same advanced primary care services at two near-site care centers (Dublin and Westerville) to serve employees and the more than 15,000 spouses/domestic partners and children (aged 3+) enrolled in JPMorgan Chase’s benefit plan.

The launch of the new on-site and near-site care centers builds on JPMorgan Chase’s long-standing commitment to the health and well-being of its employees and is part of the collaboration between the company’s benefits team and Morgan Health, a new business unit within the firm focused on improving the quality, affordability and equity of employer-sponsored health care. Both JPMorgan Chase’s Benefits team and Morgan Health identify and develop innovative new approaches to enhancing employees’ health benefits, including new partnerships with providers, health systems and other health companies to deliver a higher standard of care to employees.

Vera and COPC, two leaders in delivering advanced primary care services for employers and employees, will manage and staff the on-site and near-site care centers. Vera is one of four companies that has received financial and strategic support from Morgan Health and JPMorgan Chase as part of a broader effort to rapidly scale and expand innovative accountable care programs across the employer-sponsored market. Vera, part of the larger apree health brand, has an advanced primary care model that takes a whole person approach to health, incorporating coaching, behavioral health specialists, and wellness alongside a primary care physician to form an integrated care team. COPC is one of the largest independent physician-owned primary groups in Ohio and the U.S. and currently serves many Columbus-based JPMorgan Chase employees and their families. Employees already receiving care through an established relationship with a COPC provider will continue to have access to the full suite of COPC services and support.

Across each of the three on-site care centers, all JPMorgan Chase employees will have access to a range of affordable health care services.

Over the coming months, additional digital tools and health services will be available to employees as part of Vera and COPC’s advanced primary care approach.

“Our Columbus-based employees are essential to the success and resiliency of every line of business at JPMorgan Chase, and in turn, the broader community,” Corrine Burger, JPMorgan Chase’s Consumer and Community Chief Control Officer and Columbus Location Leader, said. “Providing them and their families with the highest quality health care services – within the convenience and ease of the workplace and their home – is part of our commitment to them.”

“We know our employees and their families are looking to ease the anxiety, stress and inconvenience of managing their health. As we look at how to support and empower employees with their health choices, our goal is to make it as easy and straightforward as possible to receive the highest quality and most comprehensive care services available at any point,” Daniela Nese, Head of U.S. Benefits for JPMorgan Chase, said.

“The partnership with Vera and COPC is deeply rooted in our vision and mission to provide a better health care experience for our employees, and in turn, to provide a realistic path forward for other employers to implement these same value-based programs,” Dan Mendelson, CEO of Morgan Health, said. “By establishing provider partnerships based on improving health outcomes for employees, we can make in-roads across communities and markets to provide higher quality, more affordable and equitable care to JPMorgan Chase employees and more than 150 million Americans who depend on employer-sponsored coverage.”

“We’re humbled to partner with JPMC and COPC, two of the most innovative partners in the country who are driving improved health care access and equity in the Columbus market,” said Ryan Schmid, founder of Vera Whole Health and president, apree health. “Integrating offerings from COPC and Vera creates increased access to world class primary care services for JPMC employees, their families, and other employers in the community.”

“COPC is pleased to work alongside Vera as we deliver services to JPMC, an employer with a history of innovating in the delivery of care for its employees and their families,” J. William Wulf, M.D., CEO of  COPC, said. “This partnership reflects the importance of prioritizing access to high-quality primary care services to improve health outcomes and the affordability of care for employees and the broader Columbus community.”
