Join multiple award-winning novelist, screenwriter, and television writer Neal Shusterman for what promises to be an unforgettable evening. He will speak at Olentangy Liberty Middle School on February 8; reserve your free seat now.

Shusterman has earned a reputation as a storyteller and dynamic speaker. Over the course of the evening, he will discuss his popular “Arc of a Scythe” series and share stories illuminating the positive influence of school and teachers on his life. Following his presentation and a brief Q&A, he will be available for a book signing.

Neal Shusterman is the New York Times best-selling author of over thirty novels for children, teens, and adults. He won the 2015 National Book Award for Young People’s Literature for Challenger Deep-and his novel, Scythe, was a 2017 Michael L. Printz Honor book, and is in development with Universal Studios as a feature film.

His novel, Unwind, has become part of the literary canon in many school districts across the country – and has won more than thirty domestic and international awards. Shusterman is currently co-writing the pilot episode of Netflix’s adaption of his “timely, speculative thought experiment in perspective, privilege, and identity” (KIRKUS), Game Changer, while his harrowing tale of survival, Dry, is in development at Paramount Pictures. His most recent thriller, Roxy, which was co-written with his son Jarrod, “portrays the opioid crisis in a way older YA readers can feel and understand” (Booklist).
