Starting October 30, Delaware-area students will have a new way to dive into science and creativity. The Young Engineers STEM Program is bringing hands-on learning to Mingo Park, with weekly one-hour sessions held every Thursday evening through December 11.

Students can choose from two sessions—5:30 PM or 6:30 PM—each led by certified instructors trained to make complex concepts approachable and fun. Using LEGO-based projects, coding activities, and engineering challenges, participants explore the building blocks of science, technology, engineering, and math in an interactive setting.

Founded in 2008, Young Engineers operates after-school programs in more than 60 countries and has been recognized by the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the European Union Commission for its innovative approach to STEM education.

Families can register by scanning the QR code on the event flyer or visiting delawareolentangy.youngengineers.org. Sessions take place at 500 E Lincoln Avenue, Delaware, OH 43015.

For more information, call 740-513-5461.

If you have a young builder or problem solver at home, this is a fun and engaging way to see where curiosity can lead. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
