Olentangy Local Schools‘ Equity and Inclusion Department on September 20th will kick off a Parent Workshop Series designed to help families support their children in raising awareness across a variety of topics relating to diversity, equity and inclusion.

The first workshop will feature Dr. Hasan Kwame Jeffries, a well-respected professor at The Ohio State University and a OLSD ONE COMMUNITY presenter. Dr. Jeffries will share his knowledge and expertise on how to best navigate what can be daunting conversations around race and racism with your children. Parents of all racial and ethnic backgrounds will learn how to recognize opportunities to engage in conversations with their children about race and racism.[widgets_on_pages id=1]
