Orange Township is partnering with the Delaware Public Health District to launch a new two-part wellness series designed to help residents build healthier, more connected lives. Whether you’re looking to make smarter food choices or deepen your relationships, this series offers practical tools and supportive guidance for lasting well-being.

Part One: Healthy Eating – May 13

Location: Community Room, 7560 Gooding Blvd.
Time: 10:00–11:00 a.m.

Kicking off the series is the Healthy Eating Class on Monday, May 13. This interactive session will explore how everyday decisions in the kitchen can boost overall health. Participants will learn tips for smart shopping, nutritious cooking, and even home gardening.

The class also dives into the value of essential nutrients, meal planning, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Staying hydrated is another major focus — with insight into how water fuels the body’s optimal performance. The session promises to deliver easy, actionable strategies for those seeking a more balanced lifestyle.

Part Two: Social Connections – May 20

Location: Community Room, 7560 Gooding Blvd.
Time: 10:00–11:00 a.m.

On Monday, May 20, the second class in the series turns to the topic of connection. The Social Connections Class will examine the powerful impact relationships have on both mental and physical health.

Attendees will learn how strong social bonds can lower stress levels, improve sleep quality, and even reduce the risk of illness. The class encourages meaningful interactions and provides guidance on how to foster lasting, supportive relationships in everyday life.

Free, Friendly, and Focused on You

Each class is designed to be no longer than one hour and is free to attend. Whether you’re a long-time resident or new to the community, you’re invited to join in this opportunity to grow healthier — and happier — together.

For more information, contact Orange Township or the Delaware Public Health District. Let’s build a better, more vibrant community, one step at a time!
