Visitors heading to Downtown Powell this summer will have a new way to take the stress out of finding a parking space.
A pilot valet parking program has launched through a partnership between the Powell Development Corporation, 80 East Social Club, and Premier Valet Parking Service. The effort is designed to make downtown access more convenient during busy evening hours, particularly for those visiting restaurants, shops, and other local businesses. Developed in collaboration with downtown businesses, the program is part of a broader push to improve parking access and wayfinding in Powell’s central business district.
Two Kiosks, Evening Hours
The 2026 pilot program will operate from two valet kiosk locations downtown.
- At the 80 East kiosk, valet service will be available Wednesday through Saturday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
- At the Prohibition kiosk, service will be available Friday and Saturday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Valet parking costs $10 per vehicle.
Building On An Existing Service
The program builds on an existing valet operation already in place at 80 East Social Club. By expanding that model and working with local partners, the pilot is intended to support more than one destination and make downtown visits easier during peak periods. For visitors, the process is meant to be straightforward: arrive downtown, use one of the valet kiosks, and enjoy the evening without circling for a space.
A Pilot With A Purpose
The valet service will continue through 2026 and will help inform future downtown parking improvements. City and development leaders will be able to evaluate how the service is used, where demand is strongest, and whether similar efforts could play a longer-term role in supporting Downtown Powell.
Participants may contact Premier Valet Parking during service hours to have their vehicle brought to them, provided there is a safe place for the car to be delivered. For downtown businesses, the pilot offers another tool to help guests arrive, stay, and enjoy Powell’s growing mix of dining, shopping, and entertainment options.
