Sugar Valley Farm, a 147.194-acre property at 2648 Troy Road in Delaware, will be offered through a live and online multi-parcel auction on Tuesday, August 11. Bidding is scheduled to conclude at 7:00 PM.
The auction represents more than the sale of acreage, buildings and farm infrastructure. It marks the end of a long period of family stewardship and the beginning of a potentially significant land-use transition.
Seven Tracts, Multiple Possibilities
The property is being offered in seven tracts ranging from approximately 2.776 acres to 100.021 acres. Bidders may purue individual tracts, combinations of parcels or the entire property, and the seven tracts carry an aggregate reserve of $25,000 per acre.
Sugar Valley Farm includes a residence, office, horse stables, barns and additional outbuildings, along with productive tillable acreage, wooded areas and scenic open ground. The property also has approximately 2,700 feet of combined road frontage. Delaware City water is available at the property, while public sewer service is stubbed near Smith Park, approximately 1.5 miles away.
The live portion of the auction will take place at The Farm at Harvest Hills, 670 Hills-Miller Road in Delaware. Online bidding will also be available.
