We’re well into the football season here in Delaware County, and two new marching bands are entertaining football spectators and rooting on their respective teams.[widgets_on_pages id=4] The Olentangy Berlin High School Bears Marching Band is, like everything else at its brand-new school, experiencing something for the first time. Here is video of the band marching down the field to the school’s fight song – also brand-new, of course.

Meanwhile, several miles to the north, the Battling Bishops Marching Band of Ohio Wesleyan University took to the field yesterday for the first time in 56 years. Below is video of the band taken in 1951, and also video of the band’s Saturday performance during the OWU-Wooster football game.
