DELAWARE

New Impacts

SR 229 Bridge Rehabilitation
  • SR 229 east of Weiser Rd. will close starting Monday, October 19 for 30 days.
    • Detour: U.S. 23 to SR 98 to SR 529 to SR 756 to U.S. 42 to SR 229 or reverse
SR 257 Culvert Replacement
  • SR 257 between Ostrander Rd. / Warrensburg Rd. and SR 37 will close starting 7 a.m. Monday, October 19 through 3 p.m. Friday, October 23.
    • Detours:
      • North side of closure: SR 257 northbound to U.S. 37 eastbound to Section Line Rd. southbound to SR 36 westbound to SR 257 northbound
      • South side of closure: SR 257 southbound to U.S. 36 eastbound to Section Line Rd. northbound to SR 37 westbound to SR 257 southbound
SR 315 / SR 750 Intersection Inspection
  • The intersection of SR 315 and SR 750 will have various overnight lane restrictions (11 p.m. – 5 a.m.) Thursday, October 15.

Continuing Impacts

SR 229 Resurfacing
  • SR 229 between U.S. 23 and the Village of Ashley will have various daytime lane restrictions (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.) starting Monday, May 11 through Fall 2026.
I-71/U.S. 36/SR 37 Sunbury Parkway
  • The I-71 northbound ramp to U.S. 36/SR 37 will be reduced to one lane starting Wednesday, April 8 through Fall 2026.
U.S. 23 Spot Pavement Repairs
  • U.S 23 northbound between Hills Miller Rd and SR 229 will be reduced to one lane daily (7 p.m. – 3 p.m.) starting Monday, August 10th through Fall 2026
  • U.S 23 southbound between Hills Miller Rd and SR 229 will be reduced to one lane daily (7 p.m. – 3 p.m.) starting Monday, August 10th through Fall 2026

FRANKLIN

The following ODOT construction projects are anticipated to impact traffic in Franklin County. All outlined work is weather permitting.

New Impacts

I-71/Main St. Interchange Improvements
  • The I-71 southbound ramp to Main St. will close starting 7 p.m. Friday, October 16 through 5 a.m. Monday, October 26.
    • Detour: I-71 southbound to I-70 eastbound to Kelton Ave. northbound to Main St.
    • Detour: I-670 eastbound to 3rd St. to Main St.
  • I-71 southbound between Town St. and Main St. will be reduced to two lanes starting 7 p.m. Friday, October 16 through 5 a.m. Monday, October 19.
  • I-71 southbound between Town St. and Main St. will be reduced to two lanes starting 7 p.m. Friday, October 23 through 5 a.m. Monday, October 26.
I-270/Easton Way Intersection Improvements
  • Easton Way eastbound between Stelzer Rd. and I-270 will be reduced to one lane (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.), Friday, October 9.
  • Easton Way eastbound between Stelzer Rd. and I-270 will be reduced to one lane starting 7 a.m. Monday, October 12 through 5 p.m. Monday, October 19.
I-270 Resurfacing
  • The I-70 eastbound ramp to I-270 southbound on the southeast side will close starting 7 p.m. Friday, October 9 through 5 a.m. Monday, October 12.
    • Detour: I-70 eastbound to Brice Rd. to I-70 westbound to I-270 southbound
  • I-270 southbound at the I-70 interchange on the southeast side will be reduced to two lanes 7 p.m. Friday, October 9 through 5 a.m. Monday, October 12.
  • I-270 northbound between Alum Creek Drive and Winchester Pike on the southeast side will be reduced to one lane starting 7 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday, October 9.
  • The I-270 northbound ramp to U.S. 33 westbound on the southeast side will close starting 7 p.m. Friday, October 9 through 5 a.m. Monday, October 12.
    • Detour: I-270 northbound to I-70 westbound to I-270 southbound to U.S. 33 westbound
  • The I-270 northbound ramp to U.S. 33 eastbound on the southeast side will close starting 7 p.m. Friday, October 9 through 5 a.m. Monday, October 12.
    • Detour: I-270 northbound to I-70 westbound to I-270 southbound to U.S. 33 eastbound
I-70 Pavement Reconstruction
  • I-70 eastbound between the Madison County Line and Hilliard Rome Rd. will be reduced to one lane overnight (8 p.m. – 6 a.m.) Friday, October 9.
  • The SR 142 ramp to I-70 eastbound will close overnight (7 p.m. – 6 a.m.) Friday, October 9.
    • Detour: SR 142 to I-70 westbound to SR 29 to I-70 eastbound
  • The Hilliard Rome Rd. southbound ramp to I-70 eastbound will close overnight (9 p.m. – 6 a.m.) Friday, October 9.
    • Detour: Hilliard Rome Rd. southbound to U.S. 40 to I-270 northbound to I-70 eastbound
  • The I-70 eastbound ramp to Hilliard Rome Rd. will close overnight (7 p.m. – 6 a.m.) Friday, October 9.
    • Detour: I-70 eastbound to I-270 northbound to I-70 westbound to Hilliard Rome Rd.
I-670 Bridge Rehabilitation
  • I-670 westbound between Harrison Rd. and Grandview Ave. will be reduced to two lanes (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) Friday, October 9.
  • I-670 eastbound between Harrison Rd. and Grandview Ave. will be reduced to two lanes (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) Friday, October 9.
Harrison Rd. Bridge Repairs
  • I-70 westbound between Harper Rd. and Fisher Rd. will be reduced to one lane starting 6 p.m. Friday, October 9 through 6 a.m. Monday, October 12.

Far East Freeway
  • Brice Rd. over I-70 will be reduced to one lane in each direction starting Saturday, August 2, 2025. Two left turn lanes on Brice Rd. northbound to I-70 WB will be maintained.
U.S. 33/Petzinger Road Improvements
  • U.S. 33 westbound between I-70 and SR 104 will have various overnight lane restrictions (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Monday, September 14 for 26 days
