The decrease in road traffic resulting from the State of Ohio’s Stay-at-Home Order is having some unexpected consequences.

For one thing, lighter traffic is prompting a revision of road project activity around the county as local governments take advantage of a safer construction environment.

One project which has moved from a July to September period is now scheduled to being on April 20.

The intersection of Green Meadows Drive and Highland Drive in Orange Townshhip will be closed for the installation of a new, modern single-land roundabout.

The $1 million roundabout installation is schedueld for completion about June 5. There will be a posted detour.
