Monday brings two temporary closures related to ongoing projects in Orange Township, according to the office of Delaware County Engineer Chris Bauserman.

Frst, Shanahan Road will be closed between US 23 and Mercer Street from Monday until July 10 for intersection reconstruction

Second, due to a Del-Co Water project, a section of the Walking / Bike Trail that runs parallel to the railroad tracks between Lewis Center Road and East Orange Road will be temporarily closed.

The trail will be closed just north and south of the Del Co. Water reservoirs. Trail users will not be able to use the trail along side of the reservoirs.

Del-Co will be placing “Road Closed” signs at each of the locations. Closure will being Monday and remain in place for 4-6 weeks.
