Are you a manager or supervisor looking to sharpen your leadership skills? The Delaware Area Chamber of Commerce presents the Supervisor Six Pack 2.0 Series, an advanced workshop designed to elevate your supervisory capabilities. This six-part series kicks off on August 13 and runs on the second Tuesday of each month for six months, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Comprehensive Leadership Development

The Supervisor Six Pack 2.0 is structured to provide in-depth learning and practical application in key areas of leadership:

  • Basic Strategic Thinking: Learn to develop and implement effective strategies within your organization.
  • Presentation Skills: Enhance your ability to communicate and present ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Influencing & Motivating: Master techniques to inspire and drive your team towards achieving goals.
  • Help: I’m in the Middle!: Navigate the complexities of middle management with confidence.
  • Change Management: Develop skills to manage and lead through organizational changes smoothly.
  • Professionalism & Etiquette: Uphold and promote professional standards within your workplace.

Interactive and Practical Learning

Each session is designed to be interactive, with participants applying the content to real-world issues within their organization. Between sessions, attendees will complete assignments relevant to their job roles and present their findings during the course. This hands-on approach ensures that learning is not just theoretical but translates into actionable insights and improvements in the workplace.

Capstone Project

A key component of the series is the Capstone Project. Participants, working in groups of 2-3, will identify a leadership challenge in areas such as Employee Engagement, Managing Performance Issues, Retaining Talent, or Developing Employees. They will set a project goal and develop strategies to achieve it, with guidance from program facilitators. This project allows participants to implement what they have learned and make a tangible impact on their organization.
