When the City of Delaware Planning Commission meets this Wednesday, they will be considering three measures related to the proposed creation of a new wedding venue for a historic Delaware church complex.

The three items would provide approval of rezoning, a conditional use permit, and a final development plan for a 16,076 square foot New Beginnings Church building at 385 East William Street and other structures into a wedding venue and events center with a single family residence on the second floor.

This property is located just west of the Central Avenue/William Street intersection. According to the Delaware County Auditor, the church was constructed in 1876.

City staff have recommended approval of these three items with some conditions. The Commission will meet in Council Chambers at 6:30 PM.
