A five-day old missing person case out of Columbus has turned into a criminal investigation as the body of 53-year-old Donna J. Harris was found in Delaware County shortly after 11 AM on Sunday.

The discovery was made in a rural wooded area off of Sherman Road in Berlin Township. Har4ris was pronounced dead at 11:30 AM.

On November 20, Harris was reported missing to the Columbus Division of Police, which quickly began an exhaustive search along with Harris’ family and friends.

Detectives with the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office are not releasing the manner of death at this time due to the ongoing criminal investigation.
