The Delaware County Historical Society (DCHS) today announced that tickets are on sale for the 2023 Stratford Festival & Ice Cream Social to be held on Sunday, August 27, at The Barn at Stratford (2690 Stratford Rd, Delaware).
The family-friendly event will begin at 1:00 PM and feature Schmidt’s Food Truck, ice cream and gelato from Riverside Dairy, live music, demonstrations, reenactors, storytelling, kids’ games and activities and tours of the property, which include the Meeker House Museum, The Barn, and the Millworker Cottage. Free single scoops of ice cream or gelato will be available to the first 100 attendees, compliments of State Farm Insurance – Tito Paul, Agent.
“We’re excited to welcome the community to enjoy our beautiful Stratford property with friends, family and other history lovers,” said Donna Meyer, DCHS Executive Director. “Tours of the Historic Village of Stratford will be included in the day’s events. We’re delighted to have musical guests Steve Ball – playing Civil War music, and The Ohio Heartland Chorus joining us. With games and activities for kids and, of course, ice cream, we can’t think of a better way to wrap up the summer.”
