ODOT District 6 has released its weekly report highlighting road construction projects which are beginning or underway in the multi-county area it serves. What follows are posted projects taking place within Delaware County and Franklin County.
Please stay safe and pay attention to these closures and work taking place during the week beginning on September 19.
DELAWARE COUNTY
U.S. Route 36
CONTINUING IMPACTS
U.S. 36 Intersection Safety Improvement – The intersection of U.S. 36 and SR 257 will have daily lane restrictions (7 a.m. – 5 p.m.) starting Monday, August 2 through October 2021 for traffic signal installation. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.
FRANKLIN COUNTY
NEW IMPACTS
Olentangy River Rd. between Highland Drive and Henderson Rd. will have daily lane restrictions (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) starting Monday, September 20 through Friday, September 24 for utility work.
Interstate 71
NEW IMPACTS
- The I-71 southbound ramp to Stringtown Rd. will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, September 19 through Thursday, September 23.
- Detour: I-71 southbound to SR 665 to I-71 northbound to Stringtown Rd.
- The I-71 northbound ramp to Greenlawn Ave. will close 7 p.m., Friday, September 24 through 5 a.m., Monday, September 27.
- Detour: SR 104 eastbound to U.S. 23/High St. northbound to Greenlawn Ave.
- The Greenlawn Ave. ramp to I-71 northbound will close 7 p.m., Friday, September 24 through 5 a.m., Monday, September 27.
- Detour: I-71 southbound to Frank Rd. eastbound to I-71 northbound.
- The I-270 eastbound ramp to I-71 southbound on the south side will close nightly (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, September 19 through Thursday, September 23.
- Detour: I-71 northbound to Frank Rd. to I-71 southbound to I-270 eastbound/westbound.
- The I-270 westbound ramp to I-71 southbound on the south side will close nightly (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, September 19 through Thursday, September 23.
- Detour: I-71 northbound to Frank Rd. to I-71 southbound to I-270 eastbound/westbound.
Interstate 670
- The 5th Ave. ramp to I-670 westbound will close overnight (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Sunday, September 19.
- Detour: I-71 southbound to Main St. to I-71 northbound to I-670.
- The I-71 southbound ramp to I-670 westbound will close overnight (11 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Sunday, September 19.
- Detour: I-71 southbound to I-670 eastbound to Leonard Ave. to I-670 westbound.
- The I-670 westbound ramp to U.S. 23 southbound/3rd St. and High St. will close overnight (11 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Sunday, September 19.
- Detour: I-670 westbound to Goodale St. to Neil Ave. southbound to I-670 eastbound to U.S. 23 southbound/3rd St. or High St.
- I-670 eastbound and westbound between 3rd St. and I-71 will have nightly lane restrictions (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, September 19 through Thursday, September 23.
Interstate 270
NEW IMPACTS
- I-270 eastbound and westbound between Riverside Dr. and Smoky Row Rd. will have nightly lane restrictions (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Monday, September 20 through Friday, September 24 for paving.
- The I-270 westbound ramps to Sawmill Rd. will close overnight (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Tuesday, September 21 and Friday, September 24.
- Detour: I-270 westbound to Tuttle Crossing Blvd. to I-2670 eastbound to Sawmill Rd.
- The Sawmill Rd. northbound and southbound ramps to I-270 eastbound will close overnight (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Friday, September 24.
- Detour: Sawmill Rd. to I-270 westbound to Tuttle Crossing Blvd. to I-270 eastbound.
- The I-270 eastbound ramps to Sawmill Rd. will close overnight (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Friday, September 24.
- Detour: I-270 eastbound to SR 315 northbound to I-0270 westbound to Sawmill Rd.
- The Sawmill Rd. northbound and southbound ramps to I-270 westbound will close overnight (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Friday, September 24.

- The E. Broad St. eastbound ramp to I-270 southbound will close (9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.) on Friday, September 24.
- Detour: Broad St. eastbound to I-270 northbound to SR 317/Hamilton Rd. to I-270 southbound.
- The E. Broad St. westbound ramp to I-270 southbound will have daytime lane restrictions (9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.) on Friday, September 24.
- The E. Broad St. eastbound ramp to I-270 southbound will close 7 p.m., Friday, September 24 through 5 a.m., Monday, September 27.
- Detour: Broad St. eastbound to I-270 northbound to SR 317/Hamilton Rd. to I-270 southbound.
- The E. Broad St. westbound ramp to I-270 southbound will have weekend lane restrictions 7 p.m., Friday, September 24 through 5 a.m., Monday, September 27.
- The I-270 northbound ramp to I-70 westbound on the west side will close nightly (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Monday, September 20 through Thursday, September 23.
- Detour: I-270 northbound to Roberts Rd. to I-270 southbound to I-70 westbound.
- The I-270 southbound ramp to I-70 eastbound on the west side will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Saturday, September 25 through Monday, September 27.,
