This weekend is Welcome Back weekend in Ashley at the newly renovated and updated Ashley Pool.
Guests can visit the pool for free between the hours of 12 Noon – 6 PM this weekend. The pool reopened this summer after being closed last year due to a crack in the pool liner. A private donation was given toward the project, making it possible for the pool to reopen this year.
Daily pool passes cost $7 for adults and $5 for children. A seasonal family pass costs $125.
The Delaware General Health District’s Creating Healthy Communities program and the Village of Ashley collaborated to provide updates to Newman Park. Updates include a new shelter house in 2018, new sidewalks, solar lighting and wheelchair-accessible picnic tables.
