On Monday, TV station WOIO 19 in Cleveland shared news that a Delaware school administrator has been named as a finalist for a position with Mentor City Schools.

Craig Heath, currently an Assistant Superintendent with Delaware City Schools, is one of three finalists for the position of Superintendent of Mentor Public Schools. The other finalists are administrators from Chardon and Crestwood.

According to the District website, the Mentor Public School District operates seven elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school, and one state of the art specialized school for students with autism. The district has just under 1,000 employees.

Final interviews are now being conducted.
