A winning season ended on Friday night as the Olentangy Braves fell to Toledo Central Catholic in the Division II, Region 7 final.

The game, played at Tiffin Columbian High School’s field in Tiffin, ended up with the Fighting Irish on top, 35-14.

The Braves, who failed to score twice within the red zone, finished the season with a 7-6 record, while the undefeated Central Catholice team heads to the state semifinals and a match with Cincinnati LaSalle.

Central Catholic built up a powerful 28-7 halftime lead, with both teams scoring additional touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
