We’re pleased to announce the next major enhancement to 1808Delaware.
When this site launched in September 2018, our focus was almost entirely on Delaware County. Over time, that coverage naturally expanded south into the northern suburbs of Columbus, particularly Westerville, Worthington, and Dublin.
In just a few short years, something remarkable has happened.
The business corridors along I-71 and US-23 — combined with the eastward expansion fueled by Intel and related development — have formed what is now Ohio’s most significant growth corridor and one of the most dynamic in the Midwest.
That growth deserves dedicated coverage.
We are launching The North Business News, a new daily feature devoted exclusively to tracking economic development, business expansion, and community growth from Columbus through Delaware County, Union County, and beyond.
At launch later this week, The North Business News will live on 1808Delaware. In the near future, it will move to its own standalone domain.
This new resource will be updated every day and will include curated links and original reporting focused specifically on the forces shaping this rapidly changing region.
It is an exciting moment for central Ohio, and we are proud to be the first news organization to provide dedicated coverage of this unique and powerful growth corridor.
