Which of the following took place most often in Powell during calendar year 2021?

  • Number of public record requests
  • Number of EMS calls
  • Number of residential building permits issued
  • Number of vacation house watch requests

If you guessed EMS calls, you would be correct. There were 853 of these in 2021, as compared to 516 public record requests, 661 residential permits issued, and 469 vacation house requests.

These numbers and many others are included in the City of Powell Annual Report 2021, which this year takes the format of a two page online document.

A narrative of work undertaken last year is given in the Report broken down by four overall City of Powell priorities – Fiscal Stewardship, Safety, Qualify of Life, and Community Development.

Basic 2021 financial data is also included, highlighted by FY2021 General Fund Revenue and Expenditure breakdowns. Total revenues exceeded total expenditure by almost $1.15 million.
