Monday evening brings the annual joint meeting of the City Council of the City of Delaware and the Delaware City Schools Board of Education.

During the meeting, the published agenda indicates that the joint bodies will discuss the following:

  • A 2018 Development Update will be presented by Paul Efland, Planning and Development Director
  • Paul Craft, Superintendent of Delaware City Schools, will provide a School District Update
  • Roxane Amidon will share an update on the evolution and next phase of the Boardman Arts Park

The proposed park is an effort of the Northwest Neighborhood Association with support of Delaware City Schools. The site was the former home of Boardman Elementary School.

The joint meeting begins at 7 PM. At its regular meeting at 6 PM, City Council will consider acceptance of four committee reports and consider a resolution allowing the City Manager to file grant applications for a proposed new multi-use path project located on the north side of West Central between Lexington Boulevard and Houk Road.[widgets_on_pages id=1]
