Lewis Center’s business community has a new formal voice. Orange Township has officially presented a proclamation recognizing the newly formed Lewis Center Chamber of Commerce, marking a new chapter for an organization that has spent the last two years building relationships among local business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders.
The organization began as Lewis Center Business Connect and has grown to more than 200 members. Now, it is taking the next step as a full Chamber of Commerce serving Orange Township, Lewis Center, and the broader Olentangy area.
Built Around Local Connection
The new Lewis Center Chamber is designed to support businesses at every stage, from new ventures looking for visibility to established companies seeking stronger local ties.
As a full-service chamber, the organization says members will have access to the kinds of benefits and resources typically associated with an established chamber, including networking events, business spotlights, marketing support, and opportunities to connect with other local leaders. Membership is being offered at $200 per year.
The chamber’s message is direct: helping local businesses grow while strengthening the community around them.
A Launch Worth Celebrating
The chamber is also inviting the community to celebrate its official launch. A kickoff party will be held on July 14 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Standardized Brewing. The event will serve as both a celebration and an introduction to the chamber’s expanded role in the local business landscape. For business owners in the Lewis Center area, the launch represents more than a name change. It gives a fast-growing part of Delaware County a more organized business network at a time when commercial activity, residential growth, and community identity are all continuing to evolve.
