The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is rolling out the red carpet for the return of RendeZOO, its after-hours, adults-only summer fundraiser, on Saturday, May 30, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. This year’s theme, “Lights, Camera, Conservation!,” turns the Zoo into a movie-inspired party setting, with guests invited to dress in “movie-chic” style and bring a little star power of their own.

A Night Built Around Movies, Food, And Wildlife

Now in its second year, RendeZOO is designed less like a formal gala and more like a full-evening experience. Guests will move through genre-themed areas across the Zoo, each created as a nod to cinematic storytelling. The evening will include elevated bites, drinks, live entertainment, immersive moments, photo opportunities, and animal ambassadors, which the Zoo describes as the real stars of the night. The entertainment and culinary lineups are still being previewed, with the Zoo noting that more details are coming.

Conservation In The Spotlight

While the evening has a red-carpet feel, the purpose is firmly tied to the Zoo’s mission. Proceeds from RendeZOO support animal care, habitat improvements, veterinary care, guest experiences, education programs, and wildlife conservation work beyond the Zoo’s gates. The result is a fundraiser built around a simple idea: a night out can also help support the care of animals in Powell and conservation partnerships around the world.

Ticket Options

Signature Access tickets include admission to the 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM event, with food, drink, entertainment, and animal experiences included. For the current purchase window, running March 1 through May 30, Signature Access tickets are listed at $150.

VIP Access includes a Premiere Access Reception beginning at 5:30 PM, with an enhanced experience before the main event. VIP tickets are listed at $500 during the March 1 through May 30 window.

RendeZOO is a 21-and-over event. The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is located at 4850 W. Powell Road in Powell.
