The sound of guitars, stadium singalongs, and festival crowds will roll across Central Ohio all year long in 2026. From legendary rock bands to country chart toppers and polished pop spectacles, the region is lining up one of its busiest concert calendars in recent memory. Ohio Stadium, Nationwide Arena, the Schottenstein Center, and a string of theaters and outdoor venues will share the spotlight as fans move from one weekend to the next with plenty of choices.

Stadium Nights Under the Lights

Ohio Stadium will feel more like a global music capital than a football field on several summer evenings. AC/DC brings the POWER UP TOUR on July 15, promising the kind of thunder that has followed the band for decades. Bruno Mars arrives May 20 with The Romantic Tour, a show built on tight choreography and radio hits that refuse to fade. Country fans will circle June 13 for Buckeye Country Superfest, headlined by Tyler Childers, while Luke Combs steps onto the big stage April 25 to deliver the anthems that have filled pickup trucks across the Midwest.

Historic Crew Stadium adds its own punch with Sonic Temple from May 14 through May 17. The festival stacks My Chemical Romance, Tool, Shinedown, The Offspring, and many others into four days that will test both speakers and vocal cords. Breakaway Music Festival follows May 29 and May 30, keeping the outdoor energy rolling.

Arena Shows for Every Taste

Nationwide Arena and the Schottenstein Center carry the schedule through winter and spring. Journey stops at Nationwide on March 16 for the Final Frontier Tour, while Demi Lovato brings a new generation of pop on April 27. Jason Aldean kicks off the year January 23, and Cody Johnson settles in for a two night run July 17 and July 18.

The Schottenstein Center leans into variety. Andrea Bocelli celebrates the 30th anniversary of Romanza on February 7, and New Edition teams with Boyz II Men and Toni Braxton on February 21 for a night heavy with nostalgia. Megan Moroney visits May 29, and Josh Groban shares the stage with Jennifer Hudson on June 25.

Intimate Rooms and Surprising Stops

Not every highlight requires a massive scoreboard. Patti LaBelle graces Mershon Auditorium on April 3, Bob Dylan visits the Palace Theatre on April 9, and The Temptations return April 16. Billy F. Gibbons plays the Southern Theatre on February 3, and Ray LaMontagne appears September 18 at Mershon.

The Ohio State Fair adds its own flavor with Allison Krauss and Union Station on August 1 and the always unpredictable Weird Al Yankovic on August 5. Festivals continue beyond Columbus with Inkcarceration at the Ohio State Reformatory July 17 through July 19 and Lost Lands in Thornville from September 18 to September 20.

A Year to Plan Ahead

With so many dates scattered from January to October, concertgoers will need calendars and comfortable shoes. Tickets are moving quickly for the largest shows, and smaller theaters are expected to sell out fast once word spreads. Whether the goal is a stadium roar, a country chorus, or a quiet seat close to the stage, Central Ohio in 2026 offers a soundtrack for just about everyone.
