Not all corn may have been knee-high by the Fourth of July this year, but the crop is catching up and there will be plenty on hand as the 2019 edition of the Ashley Corn Show kicks off on Thursday, August 1.

Presented by American Legion Post 518, the Corn Show brings three days of fun. There will be sweet corn, of course, as well as Otterbacher Carnival Rides and Games, the Elm Valley Firefighters Food Booth, and local community booths as well. Come watch the FFA Kiddie tractor pull, and register to participate in a Cob-Tossing Contest!

Each evening features a different musical act. On Saturday, August 3, that will be Hot Rod Deluxe. The HRD boys will take the stage around 7 PM  and will be sharing the spotlight that evening with longtime Delaware County favorites Burning Diesel. Come on out for an evening of good ol’ rural American fun and frivolity.

Hours for the event are:

  • Thursday: 5 PM to 10 PM
  • Friday: 5 PM to 11 PM
  • Saturday: 5 PM to 11PM

There is no admission charge. Funds raised are used by the Legion to benefit local activities.
