There’s an easier way to check traffic before pulling out of the driveway. Ohgo, the real-time traffic platform managed by the Ohio Department of Transportation, lets drivers view live road conditions from more than 900 traffic cameras across the state — including in Delaware County.

See What’s Happening Before You Leave

On the Ohgo website, an interactive map of Ohio loads right away. Zoom into Delaware County and you’ll see camera icons pop up along US-23, Polaris Parkway, I-71, and other major routes. One click opens a current image of that location. It’s an effective way to decide whether you should head south on 23 or take I-71 instead.

For longer trips, the platform allows you to build a custom route and save your favorite camera views. Once they’re saved, checking traffic becomes as quick as tapping a shortcut.

App Access When You’re On the Road

The Ohgo mobile app is free on both iOS and Android. Features include:

• Live camera feeds
• Notifications about crashes, slowdowns, or closures
• Construction updates
• Optional voice alerts so you don’t have to touch the screen

With winter weather, late-night lane restrictions, and construction stretching through multiple seasons, being able to see real-time conditions can remove the guesswork.

Where to Start

A quick check before leaving can save time, fuel, and frustration — especially during that unpredictable 5:00 PM rush around Powell, Lewis Center, and Polaris.
