Powell will be celebrating its global spirit this weekend as the annual Passport to Powell event fills Village Green Park on Sunday, October 5, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The free community gathering highlights the many cultures represented in the area through food, music, and performance.

A Showcase of Dance and Music

Guests will see a wide range of performances, from the Dublin Taiko Drummers and Goree African Drum Dance to the Mahana Polynesian Dancers, Rankin Holland Irish Dancers, and the Natyapriya Dance School. The MegaKick Demo Team will also take the stage, adding energy to the evening’s entertainment.

Flavors from Around the World

Food trucks will serve dishes with an international flair. Visitors can sip specialty drinks from Zap Zap Boba Tea, try the global-inspired menu at FoodSoul Cuisine, enjoy favorites from Taquito’s Food Truck, or end the night with a sweet treat from Buckeye Crepes.

Community and Connection

In addition to the performances and food, local nonprofit organizations will be on hand to share their missions and connect with residents. The night will close with a laser show, offering a colorful finale under the fall sky.
