Things are slowly getting back to normal in Delaware County, but several popular, large scale events are still being scaled back a bit as the pandemic eases.

Case in point — the traditional Powell Festival is taking the form of a three part concert series this summer instead of its usual weekend of festivities.

The Concert Series will be held from 6 PM to 9 PM on three Fridays — June 25, July 30, and August 27. The venue will be Village Green Park, 47 Hall Street

These evenings, as well as others this summer, will also feature the Downtown Powell DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) with local food trucks from around Delaware County. Also available will be a themed scavenger hunt each evening and yard games in the park.

The City also hopes to partner with the Powell Sertoma Club and local breweries to host a beer garden at the movie location.

Information on performers will be shared here on 1808Delaware as each event nears, as well as on the event Facebook page.
