In a significant move to bolster educational accessibility, Ohio Wesleyan University (OWU) has announced a transformative initiative starting Fall 2024—the Delaware County Promise. This pioneering program offers full-tuition scholarships exclusively to eligible high school students within Delaware County, aiming to make higher education more attainable for local families.
Key Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility for the Delaware County Promise is straightforward, designed to support academically talented students who have demonstrated consistent scholastic excellence. To qualify, students must:
- Reside in or attend a high school in Delaware County.
- Achieve a high school GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Belong to a family with an annual adjusted gross income of less than $100,000.

Application Process Simplified
